Additionally, without forming any group, I threw Ominous Conch at the sighting at the fishing hole in Ohn'Ahran (Roaring Dragonsprings) as well. This spawned Astray Splasher, which is not a rare, but can drop this item.You do NOT need to harpoon the lunker, but you DO need Dragonflight Fishing learned to loot the morsels. After it spawns, you can jump into the water and kill it and you will still get the morsel. With such easy access to 385/395 gear, there is honestly no reason you shouldn't be able to kill a lunker before it gets away.
